In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, our dear friends at Mason Jar Music have assembled an all-star collection of indie-folk artists to create The Storm is Passing Over, a benefit album of fifteen classic American storm songs. Donations exchanged for these recordings will go directly to Occupy Sandy’s ongoing relief work in New York City and the tri-state area. 

The album is 15 songs total and is available directly from TheStormisPassingOver.com.  There is a $5 minimum donation and all donations will go directly to Occupy Sandy.  The album is also available through our friends at NoiseTrade who are doing a name-your-own-price deal and waiving all of their fees.

Please pass along to anyone who is looking for great music with great purpose. It’s a beautiful thing!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Today we are happy to share a new series of music videos with all of you lovely people! We worked with our good friend Michael Litwak to put together three videos with old 8mm footage from Michael’s grandfather. We’re really happy with the results and hope you’ll take some time to watch all of the videos and read the stories behind them here.

We are no longer playing this show, sorry! But you should go anyways to see Jesse and Jason’s new band Social Meteors play in our place!

We’ve decided to make these two shows our last two for a while so we can spend some time working on new material as a band so, if you haven’t seen us for a while, now is your chance to come out to a show before we go into hibernation for a bit! We are in the process of booking a tour for January so if there are any cities you think we should stop in, make sure to let us know!

Hello!

We’re about to hit the road again on our last quick tour of the Summer! We had a great time playing with our full band during our July tour, but this time we’ll be traveling more lightly playing more intimate sets as an acoustic trio. We hope to see some of you at a show!

We are beyond excited to share the stage with one of our favorite bands, Birthmark, this coming Saturday at the Rock Shop in Brooklyn and cannot wait until the Fall when we start playing more shows around the city (we’ll be back at the Rock Shop with our band on 10/27 and have a few more shows that will be announced shortly) and get some new tunes together for all of you!
